Drawing inspiration from collaborations with the likes of Rico Nasty and Adan Cruz, the band is set to treat their fans to a fresh wave of releases this year, introducing new sounds and thrilling experiences.
One of their latest offerings is “Dopeman,” a collaboration with BET International Entertainer of the Year nominee, Ghanaian Afrobeat artist Camidoh, and DJ Switch Ghana, Global Prodigy Award Winner. This track melds the Afrobeat sensibilities of Camidoh’s chart-topping “Sugarcane” with Love Ghost’s signature dark alternative rock vibes, all propelled by DJ Switch’s dynamic freestyles. The song not only introduces a new TikTok dance challenge but also comes with strategic PR campaigns spanning Nigeria and the UK. The official music video features all three talented artists, adding visual dynamism to the auditory treat.
About the Collaborators
Camidoh: Ghanaian Afropop, R&B, and Afrobeats artist nominated for the 2023 BET International Entertainer of the Year. Known for hits like “Sugarcane” and recognized for his remix featuring King Promise, Mayorkun, and Darkoo.
DJ Switch Ghana: Award-winning Ghanaian DJ, the youngest to win Ghana’s annual DJ award. Acknowledged by Roc Nation, she has performed at high-profile events globally, including the AU Assembly of Heads of State and Government.
