Sam Hebert: Hey Marcus, thanks for having me. Well, “Sambxni” has been a part of me since childhood, a nickname lovingly bestowed upon me by my family. It’s more than just a moniker; it embodies a legacy of support and encouragement that fuels my artistic endeavors.

Marcus Rodriguez: Your journey as an artist sounds incredibly enriching. How has your upbringing in Presque Isle, ME, and now residing in Manchester, NH, influenced your music?

Sam Hebert: Oh, immensely. Growing up amidst the serene landscapes of Presque Isle and now navigating the bustling streets of Manchester has provided me with a diverse palette of experiences to draw from. Each place has its own rhythm, and I’ve tried to infuse those rhythms into my music, creating a blend of authenticity and innovation.

 

Marcus Rodriguez: Your dedication to your craft is truly inspiring. Can you tell us about your creative process and how it has evolved over time?

Sam Hebert: Absolutely. It’s been a journey of continual growth and exploration. From endless practice sessions to experimenting with new sounds, I’ve embraced every facet of being an artist. It’s not just about honing my skills but also about having fun and staying true to myself.

Marcus Rodriguez: Your upcoming album sounds intriguing. Could you share any insights into the themes or collaborations we can expect?

Sam Hebert: Well, I’m still fine-tuning some aspects, but I’m incredibly excited about it. The hook features my brother and six of my closest friends, adding a personal touch to the project. Thematically, it’s all about spreading love and positivity, a message that resonates deeply with me.
