Broken Spaceship arrived in London on January 8, 2025 with their first off the planet EP, A Part With Some Significance. The real fulcrum of the project is the cooperation of two musicians Joserra (aka Chamy the Chameleon) and Ultra_Eko who with their diverse roles in the industry (diverse activity of creation of audiovisual and tour-management, DJing) contribute to the richly interpretable album. Another outstanding team player is the Ultra_Eko who brings with him a sensibility of cult style visuals of the early 90s, which throbs throughout the project appearance. Before the first note is dropped, the artwork of EP, now created by Ada Pea aka @adagris on Instagram, introduces a certain mood.
The very first one, namely, Dreams (feat. On the first song on the EP, (Ultra_Eko), you are plunged right into a synthesized conflict of the spoken-word stress and the kick drum pressure-an unpolished entrance with no longer genre-specific sides becoming boundaries, instead of invitations. A build plays punk-attitude and uplifting electronic with the same volume in it-a daring statement of the similar type whether to join or to stay behind.
This is what most struck me, genre-wise and beyond–even the intentionally rough quality. The snare hits are intentionally crass and exhale personality and boldness. No, this is not delicate work in radio juries–this is work that requires attention.

Broken Spaceship is a creation of two energized creative people in the alt-scene of London. Joserra ( Chamy the Chameleon ) is a multi-tasking chameleon: musician/tour-manager/promoter/booking agent/stage manager/label owner and his techno-side alias is, THC Chameleons, and a wildly appreciated, collaborative experimental romp, called Biota, that infuses wild animal soundtracks with electronic textures. In the shadow of his opposite, he calls the EP to life with an audiovisual concept that could only be described as a cinematic approach to hip-hop and cult cinematography in the formative years of the 1990s, Ultra_Eko.
This imaginative power is founded on roles and histories that are sources of food in the sound. The scenery of the backstage positions provided by Joserra provide him with wit and a wider vision of things. Ultra_Eko visualizes the lyrics with cinematic undertones on every beat and line. These backgrounds combined together create an EP that is lived, fuller, that is fearless with respect to being unpolished.
A Part With Some Significance comes across as a broken piece of commentary, you get a feeling of urgency, curiosity and unease behind the beats. The EP is not only a mixture of styles, it is the structure of a narrative, which suggests involvement of paranoia, imagery of conspiracy theories, and doubt of surroundings and own identity.
Dreams sets sympathetic portals to frustrated motives and shattered stories Dreams spoken-word textures are intimate, raw, an invitation to the gloomy recesses. Ghost is conveyed with club-driven intensity but propagates sharp-sounding lyrics over reverbed hooks that move in the mind. The slower pulse of the song, as well as the moodiness of the basslines and the rap delivery of the song, turn the track into a more introspective number called, “Rotten Teeth.” In the song called Endless Puzzle, everything is interconnected: layers of sounding, the flow, which resembles a conversation, alternation of tempos evoke certain restlessness and unresolved tension.
