What’s your stage name and where are you from?
My stage name is NATEBO. I’m from Los Angeles and Chicago.
What’s the story behind your stage name?
I wanted the world to know my name and how I wanted to apply pressure, as a Bohemian.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
My musical journey has been brief, yet insightful. I’ve worked with/met some real stars in the industry. Always be careful with whom you are working with.
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
I had a car crash with no injuries, and I put it on wax. Most of these young artists can’t drive anyway!
What message do you want to convey through your music?
I want people to be in touch with their bodies while listening to my music. It heals your sacral and heart chakras.
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
I had written an experimental song that wasn’t symmetrical to the beat. I had to revamp it by adding and removing bars to make it sound right.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Probably Kendrick Lamar because I’m in the area.
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
I haven’t performed yet, but I can see myself performing in indie areas.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
Performance and music videos.
We occasionally feature artists on our Bird of Paradise Podcast for in-depth discussions. Would this be something you’re interested in exploring?
Yes.
Are there any other promotional opportunities you’re looking for to boost your visibility?
Collaborations or a label!
Where can we hear/watch your most recent work?
All streaming services.
What is the best way to contact you if fans want to give feedback or if other artists/producers want to collaborate?
By emailing me at natebobusiness@gmail.com or through direct messages on social media.
