Dax, born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, discovered his passion for music in an unexpected place—a bus ride with his basketball team in 2016. It was during this journey that he penned a poem that would ultimately kickstart his journey as a lyricist and rapper. Drawing inspiration from his surroundings and personal experiences, Dax began releasing music through his SoundCloud account, eventually gaining recognition for his mixtape “2pac Reincarnation Vol 2: By Dax” in 2017.

His rise to fame accelerated with the release of the official music video for “Cash Me Outside,” featuring Danielle Bregoli. Known for his freestyles and remixes of popular rap songs, Dax quickly established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the hip-hop scene. Collaborations with artists like Hopsin and Tech N9ne further solidified his position in the industry, leading to successful solo headlining tours across America and Canada.

In 2020, Dax released his EP “I’ll Say It For You,” garnering praise for its subject matter and lyricism, particularly the controversial single “Dear God.” With hit singles like “Faster” and “I Don’t Want Another Sorry,” featuring Tech N9ne and Trippie Redd, respectively, Dax continued to captivate audiences with his emotive storytelling and dynamic performances.

The culmination of his journey came in 2021 with the release of his debut studio album, “Pain Paints Paintings.” Produced by LexNour Beats and executive produced by Brittney Boston, the album showcased Dax’s evolution as an artist and marked a new chapter in his musical career.
