What’s the story behind your stage name?

Lill represents the next generation of rappers as Lil has been saturated.
Humble is me tryna stay meek even though I know I got a destination bigger than anything ever witnessed in music.

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.

I am the future of African Hip Hop. Music saved me. Now I’m using my music to save others.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

My producer told me, when working with me he has the least bother. It’s like the music was added as another component of ma blood. We literally made a hit out of nothing and in just a few minutes.

What message do you want to convey through your music?

In a world filled with negativity and despair, my music brings hope and pushes for positivity.

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

In Cameroon, mostly Mboko rap dominates. I braved the odds, ignored the language barrier and mastered the art of making music capable of transcending any and every group in the world. Today my music is highly appreciated globally.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

Lil Baby. He is my greatest motivation musically.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

Touring round the world, singing the words of my songs to the hearts of people in other continents and watching them heal through my music.

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?

Averting my place in the global music industry with a breakthrough project and musical wave.
