What’s the story behind your stage name?
Man honestly I came up with Mr.100% while thinking of the most memorable name that would catch attention. The meaning behind it is embracing the fact that I will never be 100%. 100% is perfection and only GOD is that. All we can do is try to be that. Strive to be better.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
This musical journey has been learning as I go. Unlocking the doors of myself through music. I have been using music as my therapy to push through life.

Oh man so I changed my verse on my new song I’ve been working on like 4 times. I’ve been challenging myself lately to switch flows and it’s been interesting.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
Pure motivation. That anything is possible when you really put your heart into something. My music is about chasing greatness. It’s ok to step outside the box and really press your line. Embody your own uniqueness.

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
I remember I had a dell pc I rented from rent a center. I had my boy proboi record me on his beat and we completed the session and he was mixing it and my computer crashed. We lost the session. We had to redo the entire song from scratch. Crazy thing is the redo sounded so much better than the original because I was so pissed off. The emotion came through on that record. If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Snoop Dogg because he is an all round guy. Been a fan since a kid and he’s been influential since. The way he transitions with time so fluidly is something that needs to be studied.

Expanding my base and growing my brand.

The next big step for me is to get more eyes on my brand. My biggest thing is to just grow
