How dark does a music video have to get before you stop watching for the bars and start watching your back?
Solo For Dolo is tapping into that uncomfortable space with the new cinematic visual for “All I Need,” a low-budget, semi-psychological thriller with horrific undertones that sounds like it’s bringing more than just a soundtrack to the Halloween season.
And honestly? Hip-hop could use more of that energy.
Forget the glossy, over-polished visuals for a second. There’s something compelling about a video willing to get weird, lean into the shadows, and let discomfort do some of the heavy lifting. Psychological horror doesn’t need a Hollywood budget to get under your skin. Sometimes, the tension lives in what you think you saw, what you can’t quite explain, and the uneasy feeling that something isn’t right.
