What message do you want to convey through your music?
Through my music, I want to inspire people to believe in themselves, chase their dreams, and never let their circumstances define their future. My music represents confidence, ambition, positivity, and having fun while staying true to who you are. I want listeners to feel motivated, empowered, and reminded that no dream is too big when you’re willing to work for it. As FatCat, my goal is to create music that connects with people, brings energy, and inspires the next generation to dream bigger.
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
At just 11 years old, I faced an unexpected challenge while performing for an African prince when my microphone suddenly stopped working. Rather than allowing the technical difficulty to interrupt my performance, I remained composed, projected my voice above the instrumental, and continued performing without missing a beat. This experience taught me the importance of professionalism, adaptability, and perseverance under pressure. It also strengthened my confidence and showed me that a true performer can overcome unexpected obstacles while keeping the show going.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Drake , because he is the GOAT of my generation.
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
Over the next year, I see my music reaching even greater heights, opening doors to major performances, collaborations with established artists, and opportunities in film, television, and global brand partnerships. As an independent artist, I’ve already built an international audience, with millions of streams and views and listeners connecting with my music across multiple countries. My goal is to expand that global presence, perform on bigger stages, gain greater recognition within the music industry, and turn my growing success into a lasting career. I don’t just want to be another artist making music; I want to build a legacy, inspire the next generation, and prove that age is no barrier to achieving extraordinary things.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
My next big step as an artist is introducing my first-ever bilingual English and Spanish collaboration, recorded at the studio of global music superstar Pitbull. This project represents an exciting new chapter in my career, allowing me to explore new sounds, connect with Spanish-speaking audiences, and further expand my already established international reach. It’s more than just a new release; it’s another step toward becoming a versatile, globally recognized artist who brings people together through music.
