What’s the story behind your stage name?
Noticed at a young age that having a positive ‘Myndset’ was the key to overcoming certain situations
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate and perform on the same stage as some of my favourite artists. My music style is ever-changing and will never be defined by a single genre. I have put more music out in the last couple years than the last decade and my best work is on the way!

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
Recently got back into playing organized basketball for the first time since high school. Basketball was my first addiction and it was definitely inspiration behind writing ‘Yadda x3’ .
What message do you want to convey through your music?
Consistency is key! The music I’m making now , is music I enjoy listening to which hasn’t always been the case. I like to explore different genres and flows with my music and I always try to create something new that I haven’t done yet!
Behind the Music
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
I’ve taught myself over the years how to record with a purpose and really get a nice sounding vocal. This has saved me a lot of time and resulted in much more music.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Hmmm, that’s a crazy one! I listen to so much different music that I could say anyone! Right now I think I’ll go with Post Malone, he’s been a favourite of mine for a long time. He’s always challenging himself with new ideas and genres and the man has range!
Future Aspirations
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
I’m currently putting together a new album and plan to have that ready for the summers end. I’m hoping this piece of work can open some new doors and get my music heard by some new fans. I’m definitely going back to my hip hop / boom bap roots with this one , with the whole record fully produced by alja.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
I would like to work on some more collaborations this year and push this upcoming album hard! Getting interviews like this one and being added to playlists helps huge for us independent artists so thank you. I would love to get some shows going overseas also!
