What’s your stage name and where are you from?
My name is Jared Prinzo, and I’m from West Palm Beach, Florida.

What’s the story behind your stage name?
It’s me. I wanted to use my full name and not a stage name because I want to be as vulnerable as possible. I believe in giving all of yourself to this world and not holding back. By using my real name and not a stage name, I can’t hide from my mistakes. Everybody can fully take in who is Jared Prinzo.

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
It’s been a journey full of struggle, success, laughter, and pain. I think I’m too hard on myself sometimes. It’s only more recently that I’ve allowed myself to open up more musically.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
I’m making tracks in my apartment, and they’ve been working on the roof. Some of those takes were good, but there’s a hammer in the background!

What message do you want to convey through your music?
I focus on being as authentic as possible. It’s about inspiring the next person to take that leap of faith, just like I did. I want the listener to think, “Hey, maybe I could actually do this too.”

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
Mixing relationships with business. Don’t do it. We’re still working on overcoming it, haha.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
I want the artist who’s gonna kill me on my own track! Make me look bad, how else can I get better? I want to be pushed to my maximum, so any collab that can have that effect, I’m all for it.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
Honestly, I’m not sure. I don’t like to focus on future outcomes. My main focus is growing my audience. I want to find people who like my style, and we’ll go from there.

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
Just releasing music. I want to get a big catalog going. I like releasing EPs and albums over singles. I write pretty much every day, and to have it all just sit there doesn’t make sense.

We occasionally feature artists on our Bird of Paradise Podcast for in-depth discussions. Would this be something you’re interested in exploring?
Yes.

Are there any other promotional opportunities you’re looking for to boost your visibility?
No.

Where can we hear/watch your most recent work?
YouTube, Spotify, Instagram. I’m just now getting my Facebook set up, and I still don’t have a TikTok. Instagram is my main way of contact.

What is the best way to contact you if fans want to give feedback or if other artists/producers want to collaborate?
Instagram is my main way of contact. Shoot me an email at jaredprinzo1@gmail.com, and I’ll most likely see it.
