What’s your stage name and where are you from?

JESUS THE APOLLO

What’s the story behind your stage name?

The Apollo, Sun & Moon — the Apollonian Gods of the Harmonic Orbit. Music is the vibration of the universe and its esoteric nature. It is the frequency of life & the cosmos itself, with “JESUS THE APOLLO” linking directly to that of resonance and orbiting above the frequency & water.

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.

A Journey of the search for inner truth and enlightenment, an ongoing journey to master the sense of self, the harmony of self and the harmonic orbit- using music to walk above the frequency and not through it.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

While creating “THE MOON MAN!” it was Halloween period and we had a ball creating the song

What message do you want to convey through your music?

An understanding of consciousness and esoteric, gnostic knowledge underpins my work, with hip hop serving as the frequency through which the shadow self (the lower realm) and the higher self are explored. Pop and dance music— which I also create—focus more directly on the higher self.

Chakras help to tune consciousness, and music naturally operates through frequency. My albums are structured around this principle. APOLLO: Book I — Apollo’s Symphony of the Lantern Age and Birth of the Universal Justice is primarily hip hop–driven, addressing the shadow realm of life and existence. By tuning into and integrating the shadow self, we learn to navigate the ego and build a more harmonious sense of existence.

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

The instrumental process for THE VILLAIN!, I spent a while composing an instrumental that best suited the vocals. The song is abstract in its tonality and delivery, meaning that i had to experiment with different ideas such as a more mellow style; settling with a Pop Punk production

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

Enya — I love the experimental elements of her music, with songs that sound incredibly cinematic and harmonious. Kendrick Lamar and Nicki Minaj, in hip hop, bring poetry, sonic innovation, and charisma; both are among the greatest rappers to have shaped the culture.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

More albums, merch and a tour

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?

To tour soon and release the continuation of the “APOLLO” album series

Where can we hear/watch your most recent work?

Spotify and other streaming platforms—YouTube and SoundCloud as well. “JESUS THE APOLLO” is the go-to.
