What’s the story behind your stage name?
My name comes from my dad’s nickname while I was growing up.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
Writing the ConRenaissance mixtape was a whole story within itself! Born of a month’s long artist residency in Mexico City, Mexico. A country I had never visited before, don’t speak the language, and a place I don’t really know anybody.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
There’s always a way for us to be better at what we do by being the best versions of ourselves. We learn new information everyday and we can apply that to our daily lives.
Behind the Music
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
The biggest challenge I face is quality improvement. Every streaming platform has a different algorithm for how they determine “best audio quality” so working with my engineer to make sure the songs sound as clear as possible. We are always overcoming obstacles with that and it’s a constant battle to find what works best for everything while still making the music sound good.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
First to mind is Childish Gambino. He’s one of he most complete artists of our generation while not sounding like anybody else.
Future Aspirations
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
Within the next year I plan on doing more shows in the East Coast/Midwest US area
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
The next big step is getting the visual part to fully match the music. Between adding more shows to the schedule and creating music videos for my catalogue visuals are the next focus for me.
