What’s your stage name and where are you from?
I go by sykoanalyst, and I’m from Boston, Massachusetts
What’s the story behind your stage name?
The name’s self-explanatory—it reflects how my mind works. I’m very detail-oriented, and I like to break things down and really understand the what, how, and why behind everything. I brought that same mindset into my music—dissecting sounds, emotions, and experiences to create something that’s fully my own.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
My journey has been modern, shaped by the digital age and the freedom to create without boundaries. It’s been raw, built on honesty, emotion, and staying true to myself through every track. And most of all, it’s been a revelation—a process of discovering who I really am through sound.
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
There’s always this space you can tap into—where everything just flows. While working on my latest track, I found myself in that zone where the ideas were coming naturally, like the beat and the lyrics were already inside me and I just had to let them out.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
Through my music, I want to convey confidence, self-affirmation, and the importance of staying true to yourself. It’s about owning who you are, no matter what, and not letting the world shape your identity. I want listeners to feel empowered, like they can move through life unapologetically.
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
One of the biggest challenges is always writer’s block. But I’ve learned you just gotta keep splattering paint on the canvas—even if it feels random at first. Something real always finds its way through if you just keep creating and don’t overthink it.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Drake. The level of introspection he brings to his music is something I really connect with—I see that same quality in my own work. He knows how to turn real emotion into something universal, and that’s the kind of artistry I respect.
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
I see my music taking me beyond the multiverse. I’m not aiming for just one lane—I’m creating a whole world, maybe even worlds. The goal is to expand in every direction—sound, reach, and impact—with no limits.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
The next big step is working on my SYK – EP. It’s the next evolution of my sound—raw, experimental, and fully tuned in. Yeah… we goin’ supa SYK with this.
Where can we hear/watch your most recent work?
