What happens when the monsters come out, the streetlights flicker, and somebody decides the Halloween party needs a little more boom-bap and a lot less friendly?
Welcome to The Horror Section.
A collaboration between DJ Unknown and H4z4rdous, this horror-inspired EP arrives October 30, appropriately timed for Devil’s Night. The concept feels tailor-made for the season: grimy underground Hip-Hop, cinematic dread, and a cast of underground voices ready to turn a Halloween playlist into something a little more sinister.
Featuring Swamp Thing, Es, Tha Professor, and K.O. Strat, the project pulls from the kind of horror that sticks around long after the television goes dark. We’re talking Tales from the Hood, Salem’s Lot, Phantasm, and that particular brand of supernatural discomfort that made old-school horror so memorable. These aren’t just reference points for a spooky playlist. They’re reminders of an era when atmosphere did half the frightening, leaving the imagination to handle the rest.
And that’s where this pairing makes sense.
