Bamis’s latest release, “Freeze Time,” is a powerful exploration of dark, energetic, and aggressive vibes.
Released under WeWill Productions, this track encapsulates the artist’s journey and resilience. With lyrics that cut through the intensity of the music, “Freeze Time” is a testament to Bamis’s prowess as a multifaceted artist.
Bamis, born Brandon Del Corpo on January 19th, 1996, hails from Montreal, Canada. Growing up in the challenging environment of Laval, a rough city adjacent to Montreal, he navigated obstacles from a young age. Raised by a single mother, Bamis found solace and inspiration in the musically active household he called home.
Introduced to legends like James Brown, Ray Charles, Elvis Presley, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, and Prince, Bamis developed a diverse musical palette. However, it was the voices of hip-hop icons like Eminem, Tupac, Biggie Smalls, 50 Cent, and Nas that resonated deeply with him. At 14, he discovered a passion for basketball, which played a significant role in his life until an unfortunate injury at 18 redirected his focus to music.
Embarking on his musical journey, Bamis initially delved into beat-making before venturing into lyricism. Setting up a modest studio, he began recording his ideas. Over the years, his commitment to music intensified. Today, Bamis stands at a pivotal point in his career, having opened for prominent local and international hip-hop artists. With three solo projects under his belt, where he served as the executive producer and writer, Bamis continues to make waves in the hip-hop scene.
