V Knuckles has come a long way since his childhood memories in Roxbury, MA. At 12, he moved to Cambridge, MA and rapidly developed his own flow with catchy lyrics and raw style alongside his cousin E’Flash. Together they formed the group N.B.S. (Natural Born Spitters) and the (Verbal) Vets in 1998. With influences such as Kool G. Rap, Nas, and Rakim; Knuckles flow combines a raw, witty, and flashy rhyme style that compliments the more melo-dramatic style and voice of E’Flash. Knuckles has influenced many listeners from Washington D.C., where he attended the real HU, to sold out venues and festivals of Europe, Asia, throughout the states and worldwide. To this day he continues to inspire upcoming and established lyricist while traveling the world promoting dope Hip-Hop music with E’Flash and The Vets.
The single can be found on “The Next Chapter,” the latest project from Boston/Cambridge, MA based artist V Knuckles (member of Duo N.B.S.), entirely produced by the veteran Portland, ME beatsmith Phoniks. During the Pandemic, Knuckles settled down with his lovely fiancé and had a beautiful baby boy. This was the beginning of “The Next Chapter” of his life and the inspiration behind this work of art. Tracks such as “I Don’t Know” feat. Inspectah Deck (Wu-Tang Clan), “Promise”, and “Daylight” depict life as Knucks knows it now.
