Born and raised in the grit of Portsmouth, VA, and now holding it down in Jacksonville, FL, DV8 is an artist who embodies the mental weight of a true hip-hop head. His foundation was built on the legends—Wu-Tang Clan, A Tribe Called Quest, and Nas—elements that are clear in his intricate lyrical execution. This isn’t a new pursuit; he’s been sharpening his pen since middle school.

He’s a family man, a father of three, and a Biology degree holder with an established professional career. He creates from a place of pure passion, recording in a home studio he built to keep the culture alive while preparing for his debut solo EP, Solar Flair, coming in 2026.
