“Flashes In The Dark” the album is the perfect mesh of Giallos soundscapes painted effortlessly by J’s pen. “I’m a huge fan of UK hip hop and I’ve been to London a few times digging with Mr. Thing, Talks in Brixton with Ty or recording with Sonny Jim or Mark Force of Bugz in the Attic” this is an album I wrote during the pandemic spending time between DC, London and NYC. “It was a dark time but the album also shows maturity and a certain vulnerability not being expressed by a lot of my peers”.

There was so much going on in the world and this album is my own expression of what was going on with me. I touch on reminiscing of my younger days, good times to losing friends and heartbreak. As soon as I got beats from Giallo if I was up in the wee hours of the night writing and recording… To me this album shows that even in the darkest hours there’s always flashes of brilliance that shine through
