What happens when Buffalo’s independent grind meets Yonkers street wisdom, Brownsville’s full-force aggression, and West Coast funk? Somebody better turn the volume up.

On “Mercy,” TheRealSkitso brings together Styles P, M.O.P., and Kokane for a collaboration that understands one of hip-hop’s oldest truths: the right voices on the right record can still make a statement without chasing whatever sound is trending this week.

Released September 2, 2026, and produced by TheRealSkitso himself, “Mercy” puts the Buffalo-based producer in the middle of a lineup with serious cultural mileage. Styles P brings the hardened perspective associated with The LOX, while M.O.P.’s Billy Danze and Lil Fame represent that unmistakable Brownsville intensity. Kokane adds a melodic dimension rooted in West Coast G-funk. Different regions, different energies, one record.

“Mercy” operates in the space where rugged East Coast lyricism meets a soulful, funk-leaning backdrop. The appeal isn’t simply the guest list. It’s the idea of getting these distinct musical personalities into the same room, sonically speaking, and letting their individual identities carry the weight. In an era when a collaboration can feel like a collection of unrelated verses assembled for streaming numbers, that kind of cross-generational chemistry matters.
