Real estate investor and social media personality Cesar Pina, also known as “Flipping NJ,” has pleaded guilty in federal court to his involvement in a multi-million dollar real estate investment fraud scheme. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Pina entered his guilty plea on October 22, 2026, in Newark, New Jersey. The case involves allegations of misleading investors, misusing investment funds, money laundering, and bribery involving a New Jersey public official. Federal prosecutors revealed that Pina attracted investors through real estate seminars, social media promotions, and promises of substantial financial returns. Some investors were promised returns of 30% or more within just four to five months. However, according to court documents, millions of dollars intended for real estate projects were redirected toward unauthorized expenses and payments to earlier investors. Pina pleaded guilty to four federal charges, including wire fraud, money laundering conspiracy, and two bribery-related offenses. Cesar Pina is scheduled to be sentenced on March 10, 2027. In this video, we examine the details of the guilty plea, the federal investigation, the real estate investment operation, and what this case means for investors and the broader real estate industry.
