Josh Dooz, I am from Westchester, New York!
What’s the story behind your stage name?
That’s my real name. Joshua means leader in Hebrew.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
I am simply a conduit. The music is what happens when I allow it flow through me. I have learned a lot about myself and the world throughout this musical journey.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
Well, I was releasing some demons/low vibrations out into the microphone.. God/Something took over me and told me to pour out all of the beer I had just bought down the toilet and yeah, I havent really been drinking since that moment. Thank you god.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
Be proud to be yourself and try to be as free and flowing as you possibly can be. Release your shit. Come back to yourself, relax your shoulders and breathe. It’s all good.
Behind the Music
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
A lot of projects that Ive compiled over the years have just been deleted by accident off of my computer… So the current challenge has been trying to re create a vibe/energy I was in when I had created those previous songs.. It sucks, because I really like those songs and they are gone… but hopefully it all happens for a reason right??
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
I would revive the goat himself, Mr. Mac Miller, Man i would love to just be in the studio with him and catch a vibe and channel some beautiful creations.
Future Aspirations
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
Wherever we go, Im ready for it. I would like to see my fanbase bigger and more consistent streams and fan engagement.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
To lock in and just stay disciplined. It’s all on me. I know what I can accomplish. I know the things I have to do accomplish them, I just have to get out of my own way.
