Artist Introduction
What’s your stage name and where are you from?
I’m Louie the Producer, and I’m from Utah.
What’s the story behind your stage name?
I had a hard time finding my name until I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada just to explore around and found myself always trying to pronounce my name “Luis” to my colleagues at the time. Until one day they just started calling me “Louie.” I was always switching out, rebranding, and making things harder for myself, now that I look back.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
My musical journey would be described as a record label. Artists, especially in my industry, don’t just need beats. They need promo, music videos, art covers, marketing, and much more. I realized that I’m half the job. And realizing that I asked myself: “why not help the artist that’s invested in me, help them grow?” Not only did I spend the time and money on learning how to make the best beats, but I’m even now getting mentored by former music industry individuals on how to make income in this intricate business. The Music Industry.
Fan Engagement
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
You only make things hard when you believe it’s impossible to.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
That happiness is a state of mind. Happiness is within. Money isn’t everything, but it’s what we ALL are keeping track of.
Behind the Music
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
During my productions, I’ve always battled with beat-block. How I overcome this is to go away if you are completely going crazy. And how I go about it is, coming back with a clear mind. Almost like I forgot that I created the beat, so you go back in with a clear head and work graciously because your ears get detuned (from what I noticed in myself) and that’s just usually what challenges I face during my productions. Other times it’s sound selection, going through thousands of snares just to find the right one, or be more confused because now you think you need to change the kick or something.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Dead or alive Bob Marley, because of how the music has changed from natural instruments to now digital sounds. Can we also get Skrillex on? 🙃
Future Aspirations
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
To places that I have not been to yet. Major cities and different countries. Haven’t really traveled since Vegas.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
Get to the next level.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is magnificent blog. A great read. I’ll definitely be back.
