What’s the story behind your stage name?

penny dreadful is my favourite tv series and I guess just took inspiration from the title

long, difficult, spiritual

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

the feeling of freedom, I guess just being able to say whatever the hell I wanted but simply having fun with it

What message do you want to convey through your music?

Truthful storytelling

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

Staying headstrong while listening over and over again, being my own engineer and mastering everything myself, the music starts to drown and it’s easy to second guess skills and abilities

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

Marilyn Manson. He is a perfect representation of what an artist should be, his ideology, his ability to carry to weight of the world and how he has been one of the most controversial people on the planet

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

metal music is what started my love and drive to create, so I think as I get older, the more in touch I want to get with my true passion for writing. I believe rock/metal is the direction I will be taking

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?

the potential to completely rebrand is always knocking at my door, but it takes time and patience figuring out how to do so. whether it stays under my current artist name or a new one entirely… the music is going to change. I want to create music that inspires others the way it has inspired me
