What’s your stage name and where are you from?

Amara-Fe and I’m from Texas.

What’s the story behind your stage name?

My stage name was chosen based on specific meanings. I wanted my name to represent something pure and everlasting.

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.

My music journey went from me being a consumer to attempting to write music and pitch it to label artist to ultimately just making music myself. It’s not easy getting in with labels when they don’t accept unsolicited material.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

The latest track isn’t released yet however the idea came from a word that I hadn’t heard since school days. So I decided to use it and make a fun interesting catchy song. It’ll be on the next album as track number 1.

What message do you want to convey through your music?

Have fun, tell a story and most of all stick to it.

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

Budget. Lol. Production cost and sometimes that itself is the challenge. Save money and think about the future and remember your purpose is how you get through it.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

None. I honestly don’t have that mindset.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

I see music taking me on a journey that will become demanding, interesting and meaningful.

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?

Start doing videos for certain songs.
