What’s your stage name and where are you from?

Inna Rebel Rel from Southern Virginia

What’s the story behind your stage name?

My stage name is Inna Rebel Rel. I was a rebellious, hard-headed kid, so ‘Rebel’ stuck. ‘Rel’ just fit the sound. ‘Inna’ is the inner side of me. It’s the self-reflection and honesty you hear in my raps

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.

I make music to process life. It’s me thinking out loud about who I am and what I believe. I wamt to leave something meaningful behind. So Collectin Tithes is my debut single & the first time I really put music out to the world. The journey’s been about finding my real voice and improving with every session.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

There were moments in the song where I could’ve flexed harder or been more dramatic for effect, but that wasnt really was. Instead, I kept the lines simple and true because I value that.

What message do you want to convey through your music?

I want my music to show what I can really do, not just follow a formula. It’s me sharpening my pen, my flow, and my ideas at the same time. I want people to hear the skill in it, but also feel like it’s coming from a real place, not just showing off for no reason.

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

A challenge came up in the mixing phase. My engineer and I speak different first languages. I sent voice notes with timestamps to explain the changes I wanted even translating things into German sometimes. But our dedication was relentless.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

I’d love to collaborate with J. Cole because he blends skill with real reflection, and his music feels grounded and thoughtful. I’ve already collaborated with Da Va Cap, and that was special for me, so I’d definitely like to keep building with him too. I like working with artists who are original.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

I see my music taking me from the studio to real rooms with real people. The goal is to grow it to the point where I’m performing, collaborating more, and building a name people recognize instead of just a link they scroll past.

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?

The next big step is giving listeners more to hold onto. More music, more story, and more chances to connect with what I’m saying instead of just one track at a time.
