What happens when hip-hop turns the volume down long enough for the weight of the world to speak?
There’s something intriguing about a track called “Lullaby” coming from OBD, short for Outnumbered But Deadly. The Rotterdam-based duo has built its identity around introspective rap, vinyl-minded production, and a willingness to confront the social sickness that follows people home. That makes this October 8, 2026 release an interesting entry point into their world, even before the first note gets its say.
Released through Lonegunner Entertainment, “Lullaby” arrives with English lyrics and a title that carries a familiar contradiction. A lullaby should settle the nerves, soften the edges, and usher the listener toward rest. Hip-hop, meanwhile, has always known that the quietest moments can carry the heaviest truths. Sometimes the mind gets loud precisely when the rest of the world goes silent.
