What happens when hip-hop gets tired of hearing everybody explain themselves and decides it’s time to put the work where the mouth is?
Larry Coleman 2020’s “They Just Talk About It” arrives with a title that sounds less like a complaint and more like a verdict. No grand courtroom theatrics. No endless closing arguments. Just a pointed observation about a culture that has always known the difference between saying something and standing on it.
Released October 23, 2026, through Free Agent Music via Warner ADA, the single is identified as the first release from The Mad Hatter. Its stated DNA pulls from old-school hip-hop, conscious hip-hop, and alternative hip-hop, with a mood palette that moves between chill, epic, and moody. That combination suggests an interesting tension: reflective enough to sit with, ambitious enough to make a statement, and shadowed enough to leave a little room for interpretation.
