How long should somebody wait for your attention before they realize the clock belongs to you?
Makhyli is making patience part of the playbook. Her single “Keep You Waiting,” released October 28, 2026, arrives with a premise that knows exactly where it wants to land: bratty, bass-heavy trap-pop built around setting the pace and making somebody earn access to your time. No begging for attention. No rushing to make somebody else comfortable. Just a little attitude, a little tension, and the reminder that availability is not the same thing as obligation.
The concept hits a familiar nerve. Everybody has experienced that moment when somebody assumes your time is theirs to claim. A text comes through, the expectation follows, and suddenly your afternoon belongs to someone who never bothered to ask. There is something satisfying about flipping that script. Let the phone light up. Let the anticipation hang there. You have things to do, a life to live, and no obligation to drop everything because somebody finally decided they want your attention.
