My name Oryah & I’m from Pennsylvania
What’s the story behind your stage name?
It’s actually a Hebrew name (pronounced: “Oh-Rye-Uh”). In translation, it means “the light of god”. Personally, I’m not a follower of any specific religion. But I think it’s a powerful name & overall I am a pretty open-minded spiritual guy

Funny enough, I was gonna name my new song “Pick You Up” something else until the very last minute. It was originally gonna be called either “Questions” or “Sativa”

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
It takes me a long time to just come up with a verse/song in the moment. Nowadays when I go to the studio, I usually come with everything written & planned well in advance. Only thing I keep abstract is my delivery. Lately I been working on my free-styling a lot though. Ton of progress in that department lol
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Pierre Bourne yoooo please let’s work haha I’m sorry I remixed 4U. That’s my favorite producer honestly & I love his solo work.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
Towards more sustainability & opportunities. I’m grateful for everything going on now though. And I definitely appreciate my listeners
