What’s your stage name and where are you from?

730RS

What’s the story behind your stage name?

730RS comes from the streets and the cipher. “730” is that New York slang for being unpredictable or mentally sharp — sometimes unstable, sometimes genius. “RS” stands for Rhyme Slayer — self-given, earned, and never taken lightly.

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.

I started rapping to survive the chaos around me. Over time, it turned into a way to speak for those who never got the mic. Now it’s spiritual, personal, and revolutionary all at once.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

My kids helped produce it. Literally — they picked sounds, helped with the bounce, and gave feedback. Hearing them vibe to something they helped shape showed me legacy is already in motion.

What message do you want to convey through your music?

That pain don’t make you broken — it makes you sharp. That truth cuts deeper than clout. And that no matter what system you were born under, you can still rewrite your role in the story.

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

One of the biggest challenges was maintaining the feeling of a track after mixing — the soul would get lost in the polish. I had to stop relying on formulas and start trusting the emotion again, even if it meant breaking “rules.” Sometimes the bounce is more important than perfection.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

Jadakiss. Top 5 dead or alive. His delivery, precision, and presence are unmatched — every bar lands like it matters. I study that, and it pushes me to stay sharp with my own message.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

Into more homes, more headphones, and more hearts — especially the ones looking for something real. I’m not chasing clout, I’m building legacy. Next year’s about expanding impact without compromising message.

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?

Releasing my upcoming music under a collective with deeper intention, starting with The Nation. It’s not just about singles — it’s about building a movement rooted in truth, bars, and legacy. From streaming to books to live performance, I’m locking in all angles.
