Ac Too Cold, and I am from Chicago.

What’s the story behind your stage name?

Growing up all my cousins and friends had two letter nicknames, ‘HD” 3D” “CJ” etc.. well i was the laid back cousin and friend that was always chilling. wanted to fit in with the nickname trend and not wanting to stick to the usual letters of my name, AC was born. The “too cold’ was added from the influence of Joker Too COld from Jackson, Ms.

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.

I started making music as a way to process my own experiences, turning raw emotions and real-life struggles into verses that felt like therapy. Over time, my sound evolved—blending gritty street storytelling with introspective melodies—while building connections with listeners who saw their own stories in my lyrics. Now, every track I release is both a personal milestone and a step toward creating a legacy that outlives me.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

I was able to actually be on live with a fellow artist bouncing ideas and sounds back and forth to each other and for the audience.

What message do you want to convey through your music?

I want my music to show that no matter how heavy the struggle gets, there’s strength in surviving and turning pain into power.
It’s about being real—owning the scars, the hustle, and the moments that shaped you—without sugarcoating the truth.
At the core, my message is resilience: you can come from nothing, go through everything, and still rise.

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

Lack of motivation to create is the biggest, but pushing through and seeking inspiration in other people and places will help guide you through difficult times as such.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

I would love to collab with ADELE and CHANCE THA RAPPER. I believe we can make something magical.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

In the next year, I see my music opening doors to bigger stages, stronger collaborations, and a loyal fanbase that rides for me beyond just a single song.
I want to lock in more consistent streams of income from my art—through shows, merch, placements, and sync deals—so the grind fully funds itself.
By this time next year, I see myself not just dropping music, but moving with a brand and presence that’s impossible to ignore.

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?

The next big step for me is scaling up my reach—investing in strategic promotion, playlist placements, and high-quality visuals so my music gets in front of the right ears.
I’m also focused on building a solid team around me—people who believe in the vision and can help turn momentum into long-term moves.
Most importantly, I’m ready to push into bigger markets with live performances, features, and collaborations that put my name in conversations it’s never been in before.
