AMiR currently based in Nairobi, Kenya

What’s the story behind your stage name?

Actually it’s an acronym meaning Art Moves in Rhymes

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.

Musically I started way back in 2017 and I was fond of Hip Hop art form.
I later went professional in 2020 after several accounts of practice and learning the ropes concerning music creation and business aspect.
Over the same period I’ve been able to do more by also getting the opportunity to work with major artists such as Obie Trice, Juelz Santana, Eminem,Rah Digga,Busta Rhymes and many more.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

Wow my recent release was inspired by trap music influences and having to express myself fully about being in the industry for a minute

What message do you want to convey through your music?

Inspiration, Encourage and just put out relatable timeless music

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

Most of the challenges are financial based but I’ve been trying to work with my means since music hasn’t fully taken off to support me and itself

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

Ed Sheeran is a dream collaboration. Well mostly because I like his music and how it’s relatable

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

Hopefully greater heights starting off by appreciating platforms such as this for featuring me it’s an indication I’m heading there

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?

I’m more focused in having a decent brand that can have endorsements and success to build an empire worth of supporting my family
