What’s your stage name and where are you from?
My name is Brady Davis, and I’m from Buffalo, NY.

What’s the story behind your stage name?
I wanted to go by something that resembled my actual name as opposed to a stage name, so I decided to go with my first and middle name.

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
I grew up around music as a child thanks to my parents and learned to play a couple of instruments because of them. During my high-school years, I got my first laptop and started messing around with GarageBand and making beats, this is also around the time that I discovered hip-hop. I went to college for music, and I’m currently applying the things I learned there while also keeping up with my day job.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
For the cover art of my next track “Atomic Heart,” I decided to go with a photograph instead of digital art. The experience of going to the location for the shoot was pretty cool and definitely more collaborative than in the past.

What message do you want to convey through your music?
At this point, I’m still working it out to be honest. Flushing my ideas out and finding what exactly my style is. I think that comes through in the music sometimes—uncertainty and finding your own way, and that’s okay.

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
My biggest issue is coming up with things to write about. I’m currently in a little rut right now, but with my next song that’ll be coming out soon, “Atomic Heart,” I pretty much just had an idea for a flow and went with that.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
I would’ve loved the chance to work with Mac Miller. I think the production style that he evolved into towards the end of his life is really special and something that I try to achieve in my own music at times.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
I’ve definitely got a ways to go before anything serious happens with my music, but I plan on getting better at posting on socials and being more consistent in general.

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
I need to start gaining a steady following in order to progress in the future.

Where can we hear/watch your most recent work?

What is the best way to contact you if fans want to give feedback or if other artists/producers want to collaborate?
