What’s your name and where are you from?
Daytona Hanzo and I’m from Annapolis,MD
What’s the story behind your stage name?
Daytona is “speed related” like NASCAR similar to the flow/style I incorporate at times. Hanzo is the name of the sword maker Hattori Hanzo from the Kill Bill series of course (WuTang) and consequently I had the dismay of crafting lines/flows which would be stolen, so I had to address it the same. Just imagine, the scenes in Kill Bill where it’s just obvious no one could ever just simply possess a sword crafted by Hattori Hanzo right?! They almost had to belong to an organization or something.

Recently I just bought a condenser mic and started using more apps to better manage the flow of everything. Recorded and mixed a few songs on BandLab.

Yeat or 21 Savage – they never get lost in mix of life, the truth and the search for having a purpose.
