What’s the story behind your stage name?

echo means repetition of sound which is my primary goal is to have my sound repeatedly played globally

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.

I started as soloist, made a rap crew that split up then used my love of science & pseudoscience to reinvent myself as a solo emcee again

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

been writing for an album I’m collaborating on with 1 producer with a horror movie concept from the perspective of a murderer so it’s…interesting.

What message do you want to convey through your music?

I want to show that a former cartoonist nerd turned drug dealer turned quantum mechanics college student can do this rap stuff solidly

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

We’ve lost entire audio files because of updating software and had to recreate whole songs and projects we had recorded and I’ve been editing my own music videos since my videographer no longer uses the program we used. It’s all helped me grow as an artist.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

I’d love to rock with Canibus because he was the first one bother than Nas that I saw as an out the box thinking intelligent emcee rapping on a high level. I have something in the works.

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

By next year I expect to have found my first 1000 consumers of my music in physical form that will take my music to new heights.

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?

This year my plan is to knock out several albums with different producers to cement myself further as someone whose output and consistency can’t be matched.
