What’s the story behind your stage name?
I’ve moved around a lot since I was young.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
I played the recorder when I was younger and then started listening to a lot of radio! My first hip hop album was MC Eiht – We Come Strapped, and I started buying a lot of CDs! I wrote my first verse when I was 17.

I needed a beat that had a strong rhythm after freestyling, and I ended up putting together a song for one of my albums.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
I want to just entertain and put out music that’s nice to listen to.

Trying to put together a song that sounds good and having a good beat to go with it.
