What’s your stage name and where are you from?
I’m Mouse Sucks, and I’m from Scarborough, ON.
What’s the story behind your stage name?
I’ve always been called Mickey Mouse since I was born, but it turned into Mouse Sucks after a conversation with Ode Broham where we realized people are more interested in something if you tell them it’s bad.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
Music has been such a fun roller coaster for me. It’s shown me some great moments and connected me with lifelong friends, but it can also frustrate me and drive me up the wall, like when picking names or finishing songs. But, all in all, I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
My latest track, “X-FACTOR,” was an experience where I really had to let go and accept that I was going to take a big chance on the sound. I really think it paid off, though.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
I want people to feel good about themselves when they hear my songs. Life can be really sad sometimes, so I want to provide a feeling of joy through the art I create.
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
Sometimes I feel like my songs aren’t good enough, but I always try to remember that if it feels good, then that’s what’s most important.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
I would love to collab with Rico Nasty because she has so much energy in her music and isn’t afraid to be herself.
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
I think my music will continue to inspire people, and I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to connect with bigger artists who share the same vibe as me.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
I’m working on an album that I think will be my best work yet, and I’m really excited for people to hear it.
We occasionally feature artists on our Bird of Paradise Podcast for in-depth discussions. Would this be something you’re interested in exploring?
Absolutely, I’d love that!
Are there any other promotional opportunities you’re looking for to boost your visibility?
Yes, features in publications, podcasts, and blog write-ups.
Where can we hear/watch your most recent work?
Spotify Link
What is the best way to contact you if fans want to give feedback or if other artists/producers want to collaborate?
Twitter @mousesucks.

Very wonderful info can be found on website.
I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?
