What’s the story behind your stage name?
I was always known as 9 or 9 Millimeter 9Mill for short in middle school Nikkle 9 was my alias I said it on a freestyle “It’s the Bul they call Nikkle holding a pistol ” and from there they called me Nikkle 9 it was over the J Kwon Hood Hop instrumental with rappers from my hood C-Ave
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
It has been hard work,ups and downs,but I as a independent artist it all comes with the game ,but it’s always a reward at the end

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
The song was inspired by the movie “They Cloned Tyrone” when i seen the movie I started writing halfway through the movie lol Working on the video was fun s/o Dualist Dynamic on shooting that video also the beautiful Lia Sabella and my cousin Stoner Simpson I had the concept and we just improved a bit but it came out dope .
What message do you want to convey through your music?
Never be afraid to talk about the good the bad and the ugly try to give your perspective on life or for the ones who don’t have a voice my music isn’t just my personal experiences but the experience of others who may not have that loud voice , I speak for those with no voice

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
Just making sure the project made the deadline I had a set date but I also didn’t want to force music I like when shit hits me vs forcing music ,then on top of that when I dropped he album Itunes took forever smh lol but eventually it was all good
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
50 Cent lol Besides me trying to get on Power lol ?? He is a genius when it comes to marketing so I kno if I work with him it’s on lol
Future Aspirations
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
Definitely on a bigger stage with more people newer viewers and the bag of course
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
I run a independent label Under Ground Posse my next big step is stamping a official roster with artists, I had attempts but this time I need artists to stick and believe in themselves so the movement can push us all forward.
