What’s your stage name and where are you from?
Sose The Ghost, I’m from The Bronx, New York.
What’s the story behind your stage name?
I got Sosa from the Scarface movie. On my Demons Row biker channel, we say “Ghostin” – it’s a play off the Ghost Rider, so I switched it to Sose The Ghost.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
I was on all the mixtapes during that era. I was signed to management, and things went south. I then became caught up in the streets, did time, and almost died. Never felt right not recording, so I picked up my pen.
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
I did political conversations that went viral on my Demons Row channel, so I decided to do it in song.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
The life of a 1%er and what’s going on in the country.
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
Not getting the beats I like has been a big barrier. I don’t want to do trap like everyone else.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Johnny Cash on the hook would’ve been amazing.
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
Over 100k subs on YouTube before the year ends and climbing up high independently.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
Leveling up and earning the respect of the people.
