What’s your name and where are you from?
Where’s Flaco from South Jersey / Philly
What’s the story behind your stage name?
“Flaco” means skinny in Spanish – it was a name I got called a lot growing up. “Where’s Flaco” came from me moving around a lot as I got older and everybody always asking for me by saying “Where’s Flaco at?” So I adopted it as my stage name.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
Bamboo requires daily watering for 5 years before it even breaks through the ground. Once it breaks through the ground it will grow 90 feet in 5 weeks! My approach to music is: be bamboo – I chose to study and perfect my craft, my skills and my knowledge of the industry before being ready to release and begin my career.
Fan Engagement
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
I always go to the studio with 5-6 songs ready to record – but this time I had a session and only had like 2. I wrote “Since ‘98” in its entirety the day of the studio session like an hour before. I think it came out to be one of my favorite songs I’ve made yet.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
I want to be a role model and show people how you don’t have to be a product of your environment – at any moment you can choose to put the work in and change. It’s never to late to repent and become a better version of yourself

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
I never really had any challenges with production. I work with @DonMichaelJr he’s the goat.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Either SolChyld or Don Michael Jr. they’re super talented and from around where I grew up so to see that local influence has always been dope. Mir Fontane is another one
Future Aspirations
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
I see music taking me all over the country and becoming a fully sustainable full time career.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
The next big step for me is continuing to grow my fan base, my catalog, and connecting with a private investor to take it to a level where I can compete with the A-listers.
