Based in Athens, Greece, A Taste of Salt is the visionary alternative rock project spearheaded by musician Stefanos Barbalias. The project was born of a need to express oneself in as raw and organic a manner as possible, and it’s named after a philosophical question that arose from the concept: what is the true flavor of life and personal experience? Barbalias’ solution is a raw, sharp, essential taste of salt. The band’s independent spirit and vision has led them to create music that is not only atmospheric and alternative rock with its textures, but also very reflective in the writing, which places them in a unique and special niche of the modern global indie rock scene.
