In the vibrant city of Rochester, New York, emerged an artist who would go on to redefine the rap scene. FlightGawdLuxxi, a native of this dynamic city, made waves with his mixtape “I Wrote This On My Kouch (Disc 1)” back in 2013. This project not only showcased his skill but also introduced the world to Flight Gang, a collective that included talents like StoopidBars, Retro Heir, Keem Tha Dawn, Lil Louwop, Rell$$, and Jigz.
Luxxi’s journey continued with “I Wrote This On My Kouch (Disc 2)” the following year, following a similar blueprint. However, it was the release of “Trill Mason” in June 2014 that truly catapulted him into the underground spotlight. The album garnered excellent reviews and resonated with listeners as far as Tokyo, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
Following this success, Luxxi embarked on a mixtape spree, including standout projects like “The 5: All Fivez on Me,” “Love Hate Revenge,” and “FlightGawdLuxxi Ep.” His music reached international shores, with an exclusive release titled “FlightGawdLuxxi (Japan Version)” specifically tailored for his Japanese audience.
