Myndset, a prominent Canadian artist hailing from Barrie, Ontario, is making waves in the realm of independent Hip-Hop. The rapper, singer, and songwriter rose to prominence with his debut album, “Pedestrian Funk,” in 2016. Featuring a fusion of Boom Bap and breakbeat grooves, the album showcased Myndset’s exceptional writing and rap skills, quickly garnering a fanbase online and in the Ontario scene.
Since then, Myndset has been on a creative journey, performing alongside Hip-Hop legends like Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan and BlackSheep. The artist’s prolific output includes nearly two dozen singles, with a surge of releases in the past year. Notably, Myndset dropped the full-length album ‘Cloudshapes and Heartbreaks’ along with the Logic-inspired mixtape ‘LogicMind’ in 2021, available on platforms like YouTube and Soundcloud.
As we step into 2022, Myndset continues to captivate audiences with new songs and music videos, hinting at the imminent arrival of Album #3.
“Know Me” is the fourth release from the collaborative album “Overlooked,” a joint venture by Canadian Hip-Hop veterans Myndset and Adam Walsh. The entire album is masterfully produced by Canada’s top producer, Alja. This high-energy track boasts two intricate verses over classic Alja production.
Following the success of the previous three releases, ‘Know Me’ maintains the momentum, setting the stage for the full album release on January 5th, 2024.
