What happened to rap that made you want to rewind a bar before the next one even finished?
Somewhere between the endless scroll, the disposable hook, and the algorithm deciding what deserves your attention, underground hip-hop still has a simple proposition: put two MCs on a track, give them room to talk their talk, and let the listener decide who’s really got it.
That proposition sits at the heart of “Big Dawg,” the October 2026 single from Obscure and Kail Problems, released through Broken Complex. The record arrived on October 16, with its title doing what a good rap title should do: announcing an attitude before the beat even gets a chance to speak.
