Over a decade after joining forces for their classic 2014 joint album Eyes Watching God, Lawrence, MA emcee REKS (Rhythmatic Eternal King) and Miramar, FL producer/engineer Hazardis Soundz have officially reunited for their explosive new single and music video, “Bodega Bop.” Featuring a standout guest verse from Queensbridge royalty Capone (of the legendary duo Capone-N-Noreaga / CNN), “Bodega Bop” delivers an uncompromising dose of classic East Coast hip hop.
Built on a cinematic, heavy-hitting beat crafted by Hazardis Soundz—widely recognized for his pristine sonic engineering on the top-rated Drink Champs podcast—”Bodega Bop” opens with Showoff crew lyricist REKS setting a formidable tone through a sharp first verse and infectious hook. Capone follows on the second verse, locking down the track with unfiltered street poetry and signature Queensbridge grit.
Following an exclusive world radio premiere on SiriusXM’s Shade 45, the single and video are now available directly to fans through the artists’ official websites—hazardissoundz.com and iamreks.hiphop.
