Growing up, I was affectionately called “Bray” by my family, and I wanted a name that encapsulated both familiarity and intensity. “Abraysiv” emerged as a single word that embodies the aggressive yet unafraid spirit I aim to channel in my artistry.
OK: Your journey in music seems to have been a rollercoaster of emotions, from moments of triumph to periods of doubt. What has kept you tethered to your musical path throughout these ups and downs?
Abraysiv: Indeed, my musical journey has been a tumultuous ride, marked by both triumphs and tribulations. Despite facing numerous obstacles and contemplating quitting altogether, the cathartic nature of music has always been my anchor. It serves as a canvas for my thoughts and feelings, a medium through which I navigate the complexities of life and find solace amidst the chaos.

Abraysiv: Reconnecting with Casein not only reignited our creative synergy but also reignited a long-lost friendship. Our collaborative efforts in the studio have not only yielded musical endeavors but also provided a platform for shared experiences, including witnessing his wedding. Their encouragement and belief in my abilities propelled me forward, enabling me to reclaim my confidence and rediscover my passion for music.

Abraysiv: My recent milestone of securing my first music placement in media has reignited my passion for creating music.
