What’s your stage name and where are you from?

Bad Rescue, we come from Angers, France

What’s the story behind your stage name?

We had bands named Lyzanxia, One-Way Mirror, and Phaze I. This new project serves as the catalyst for all our ideas, including those we initially didn’t want, offering a way to rescue them.

Describe your musical journey in three sentences.

Inspired by cinematic tales and atmosphere. Every genre and instrument is welcome in our compositions, as long as they harmonize. We enjoy creating without constraints.

Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.

We met Lina Hammouche, a formidable MMA fighter, and created her walkout anthem. She visited the studio, where we explored her musical influences and observed her entrance routine before fights. From there, we developed ideas, leading to the creation of the track ‘Above the cage.’

What message do you want to convey through your music?

If we have a message, it’s: Envision stories and bring them to life or flee from them

Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.

The main challenge is determining when a track is complete and ready for release. Since we record most songs in our own studio (The Dome Studio), it’s tempting to keep refining the final details. Therefore, we establish a release date before finishing production to ensure we complete the work by that point.

If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?

We’ve already worked with great artists such as Mathilda Lien, Mr Maff, King Marino, and Vincent Lechevallier. Bad Rescue is an open platform for creation. We would be thrilled to collaborate with legends like Mike Patton or Devin Townsend, who were major influences during our youth. Exciting surprises are on the horizon!

Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?

We don’t think about that. We just make music we enjoy and create videos to help our music reach others and share our visions.

What’s the next big step for you as an artist?

Preparing a live show could be exciting, but we’re not sure if we want to tour as we did with our previous bands.

Where can we hear/watch your most recent work?
