What’s the story behind your stage name?
Inspired by the arch angel Gabriel. I use it as a way to convey – that I’m here to relay messages in my music rather it’s about God or other various topic I touch on.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
My musical journey at the at age 8 when I first got FL Studios and started to make beats and raps. I was inspired early on by 90s Hip Hop. From there I have been perfecting my craft to release my debut Album “Villains Die Free”
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
A interesting experience when creating my upcoming album SCARS was being able to collab with another rapper 36Rio for the first time, my brother-in-law.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
The message I want to convey is to put God first and remember even as a Black Man in America you can overcome any type of adversity.
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
A challenge I faced during production was the passing of my father during the creation of my upcoming project SCARS. To overcome it I took time to create an EP dedicated to him and to express how I felt about the situation.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
The artist I would love to collab with is Kendrick Lamar and because he’s my favorite artist and it’ll be an interesting creative process put into it.
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
I hoping and praying next year the music takes me to a bigger audience and I can emerge as a rising star for mainstream conscious/lyrical rappers.
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
The next big step for be growing my platform to become an national known artist.
