What’s your stage name and where are you from?
Lexa Terrestrial
What’s the story behind your stage name?
I’m not exactly… from this planet.
Describe your musical journey in three sentences.
My Music Journey has been an absolute saga. Of underdog fighting life altering circumstances since day 1 & rising above. I have done/seen some wild stuff, stuff you can’t write. It’s been iconic, amazing but also frustrating and tragic.
Share an interesting experience you had while creating your latest track.
I’ll be honest, there’s so many tracks I’ve been working on. And usually it’s me looking crazy behind my laptop at 4am. or falling asleep playing the piano. But most every track I make now I have to wear some type of breathing device in my nose. So I record looking like a little walrus.
What message do you want to convey through your music?
To fight the evils of the world! to blow up the system & move towards a more ethical future. And literally Live Long & Prosper.
Tell us about a challenge you faced during production and how you overcame it.
I have a rare nasal condition after a malpractice case where a doc surgically removed my nostrils. and my entire septum. So In order to record (and perform) I literally have to wear Q-Tips or Breathing Devices in my nose, to hold it open. Everyone that knows me is used to it. But I almost am playing my nose like an instrument during the process.
It’s wild, its unfortunate, but it’s what I have to do. Absolutely FUCK this psycho Doctor!
It’s what this entire production was about.
It came together rather beautifully & easily.
I actually did the Mixing/Mastering for this track too.
The biggest challenge I face is with my Healthcare situation, not just financially but trying to find a specialist who can help reverse the damage he’s caused has proven harder than I ever imagined.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be and why?
Writing a Dark Pop/Industrial Hip-Hop track with Lady Gaga would hit. Also Techn N9ne, Busta Rhymes or Eminem would be fun to flow with, they would allow me to really go in, go off & expand . I also think me & Doechii would make a smash and vibe nicely. Especially for her spookier hip-hop tracks.
Where do you see your music taking you in the next year?
This could end really good or really badly. I either spark a revolution or end up dead.
things in 2024, proved to be ominous
When things not long ago were insanely successful & looking hopeful!
I have built an entire ecosystem – brand, sound, music, my sound and my life, my art my Fashion even. I even just renewed my Trademark this year, which was costly!
I’ve always had my ducks in a row, my shit together & consistently grinding for the last decade! So I really hope I can see the goodness pay off.
But with my healthcare, the system, my legal battles within it, I am so badly beaten down rn. The same system that got me sick is the same one that’s refusing to help.
It’s extraordinarily frustrating, and for my friends too, who see someone with all the tools, talents, hard work, uniqueness & fun.. but because of a broken system, have seen me knocked and beaten down, barely hanging on. People genuinely want to see a happy ending to my story.
They have been following for years & have been rooting this whole time.
By Next Year I’d like to Get a little bit more funds, help & eyes. Get my story out there more.
Because now IS THE TIME!
I also hope by this time next year – I have gotten surgery or found an amazing Doctor & Booked it. And have major festivals booked!
Because I truly put on some of the funnest shows!
No more bad people, bad doctors, Bullshitters, Frauds, Theifs AND NO MORE Lawyers!
I’m a good, honest, responsible, professional person. It’s why people trust me and rely on me.
Essentially I just want my consistent efforts, both business & creatively to reward me. And I want to have my energy and health back!!
What’s the next big step for you as an artist?
performing a high end production, mind blowing EDM/Hip-Hop Experience at a Major Festival. Also making 1 SMASH single, Which I think I have 2 in the bag. Also finding MORE EQUALLY passionate, quality reliable creatives.
I am lucky to be surrounded by sm passionate, committed, kind people who are grinding like me. And I want us to Triple our funds & impact!
